I know there are a couple people that have been anxiously awaiting my review of this sidearm. Well, after 5 months of ownership and several hundred rounds fired off, here it is!
I tried to keep the review short, but it went on for a good 9 minutes. My first attempt was over 20 minutes, so there is a lot that I left out.
Long story short, I like it. And you just can’t beat it for the price. When I’m rich, I’ll buy something better. But for now, the Taurus does its job quite well.

“Magazines” not “clips”…
An unusual additional safety feature on all 24/7 pisolts is the ability to safety it decocked. Pull and hold the trigger, then engage the safety. The trigger is loose and the weapon is not cocked. Upon disengaging the safety, the weapon is ready to fire exactly as if it had been decocked.

Man, I’ve been saying “clips” my whole life, even while in the military, and you’re the first one to ever correct me! Thanks for that. Need to make sure we use the correct terminology when doing these things.
The safety feature you mentioned is pretty interesting too. I read about that in the user manual… which I should have done before doing the review. Although I say otherwise in the review, you can decock the weapon by pushing up on the safety lever. It was pretty stiff though, which is why I didn’t realize it before the review.
